We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you at the beach!

To help you prepare, here’s a guide to our dress code for the weekend’s events:

Beach Wedding Attire

Our wedding will take place right on the beach, so we want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the beautiful setting.

Here’s what we recommend:

Wedding Ceremony & Reception:

•Women: Sundresses, maxi dresses, or other light, airy dresses. Flats or sandals are ideal; heels may be tricky in the sand.

•Men: Lightweight suits, dress pants with button-down shirts, or even nice khakis with a polo. Linen and cotton fabrics are great for keeping cool. Consider boat shoes or loafers.

•General Tips: Think casual elegance. The beach can be windy, so a shawl or light jacket might be helpful. Sunglasses and hats are welcome but avoid anything too flashy or obstructive for photos.

Other Events: We want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the laid-back beach town vibe. Bring your bathing suits and casual clothes.

Average Temperatures: In October, Carolina Beach has beautiful weather with daytime temperatures average around 75-78°F and with nighttime temperatures around 57-60°F. A light jacket or sweater may be useful for the evenings.

Event-Specific Tips:

•Welcome BBQ (Thursday): Casual and comfortable. Shorts, t-shirts, sundresses, and flip-flops are perfect.

•Relaxation Day & Sunset Boat Cruise (Friday): Casual beachwear during the day. For the boat cruise, opt for smart casual – sundresses or nice shorts with a blouse for women, and polo shirts or button-downs with shorts or pants for men. It might be a little cooler on the water so keep that in mind.

•Brunch & Exploring (Sunday): Casual and comfortable for brunch and exploring. Think of something you'd wear for a day out at a beach town.

•Farewell Breakfast/Brunch (Monday): Casual attire is perfectly fine.
